We are very excited to present Virtual Zoo Camps as a new way to learn! The Zoo has been offering virtual learning experiences to classrooms around the world for nearly two decades. We are excited to now bring this experience to families from the comfort of their own homes, or backyards, from the lake, or wherever you may choose to connect with us!
How Do Virtual Zoo Camps Work?
Through science-based exploration and outdoor play, children and their families will experience Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium using their senses. Each adventure may include an opportunity to explore learning activities based on the adventure theme, meeting one of the Zoo's animal ambassadors and engagement with Zoo staff. Participants can practice sensory investigation, creativity, and math and literacy skills. Cost is $12 per device (member rate). Program length is approximately 50-60 minutes.
These virtual camps run at either 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. (unless otherwise noted) and are approximately 60-minutes in length. Cost: $12 per device (member rate), unless otherwise noted. Program length is approximately 1-hour.
Online registration for camps closes 24-hours in advance. If you would like to register within the 24-hour deadline, please call (402) 738-2092 and we are happy to take your registration over the phone.
