Zoo Announces Black Friday Membership Sale and Thanksgiving Hours of Operation

The Omaha Zoo will offer a Black Friday membership sale Thursday, Nov. 26, through Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020.

Shoppers will receive 25% off when they purchase or renew a Zoo Household or Grandparent Membership in combination with a Wildlife Safari Park Membership - a $225 value for the cost of $170 (discount offer valid for Zoo and Wildlife Safari Park combination memberships only). A renewal now adds 12 more months of Zoo fun to your current membership.

This exclusive Black Friday offer begins at 12:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, Nov. 26, and expires at 11:59 p.m. CST on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Extend your holiday fun with a walk at the Zoo. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will open for the shortened hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day to allow employees time to celebrate with their families. TreeTops Restaurant and the Gift Shop will be open, but concessions, rides, and the theater will be closed. The Zoo will return to its normal hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Black Friday and throughout the weekend. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is open every day except Christmas Day.

The operations of the Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska are currently at its end of season and weather dependent. It will be open this weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27; Saturday, Nov. 28; and Sunday, Nov 29, however the Visitor Center will be closed. Guests can enjoy nature and the Wildlife Safari Park from the security of their vehicle.
