Celebrate the Holiday Season with Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium at Penguins and Pancakes

Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for your family’s favorite holiday tradition, Penguins and Pancakes, on December 18-19 and 26-30, 2021. Enjoy pancakes from The Pancake Man, an in-person livestream penguin keeper talk, as well as a special penguin plush to take home. Two seating times are available for each date. Guests can choose to attend either a 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. seating.

*Please Note: Due to the safety of our penguin residents, there will not be a live penguin visit at the event. Instead, guests will enjoy a livestream talk from a keeper inside the Scott Aquarium Antarctic penguin exhibit. Guests will get to ask questions directly to the keeper and see the Antarctic penguins get a special enrichment!

Member cost for the event is $20 for adults and $15 for children (ages 3-11). Non-member tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children (ages 3-11). Children two and under are free. Capacity is limited. Pre-event reservations are required. All children must be accompanied by a paid adult.

For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit OmahaZoo.com/Special-Events. Proceeds from ticket sales at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium special events will be allocated toward animal health, wellness and enrichment programs as well as furthering conservation efforts worldwide. Thank you for helping us to Zoo more good!

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and the Wildlife Safari Park continue to operate by our "Healthy You, Healthy Zoo" guidelines and are committed to the safety and well-being of our guests, animals, and employees. Changes will be made as needed based on actual operating conditions and guidance from public health experts and elected officials. Please check the Zoo’s website at OmahaZoo.com, the Wildlife Safari Park’s website at WildlifeSafariPark.com, and social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for the latest details and the most current schedule.
