Get Quizzical During Trivia Nights at Omaha’s Zoo

Back by popular demand, Trivia Night events return in 2021 to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium on select Thursday nights during the months of January through April. Zoo Announces Final Gift of the 12 Days of Giving as a Present to the Community

For the final day of the 12 Days of Giving, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is giving the community the gift of free admission to children under the age of 12 beginning Saturday, December 26, through Thursday, December 31, 2020. Zoo Celebrates 30 Years of Adopting Families

The Zoo is proud to have been part of the Adopt a Family program through Omaha Public School for 30 years. Currently, Zoo staff work with nearby schools, Bancroft and Castelar Elementary, whose counselors identify families with great need. On average, the Zoo adopts 8 families annually. The schools provide Zoo staff with the names, ages and genders of the household members, and then employees and volunteers donate and shop for the families. Wildlife Safari Park Reaches Attendance Milestone

The Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska, hit an attendance record of over 400,000 visitors on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.
