Zoo Staff Leads National Organizations

Recently, two members of leadership at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium were chosen to lead national organizations representative of their career field. Director of Animal Health Receives the Emil Dolensek Award

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s Director of Animal Health, Douglas Armstrong, DVM, was recently awarded with one of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians’ (AAZV) highest honors, the Emil Dolensek Award.
