Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium does not have lockers available for guests. However, guests are permitted to bring bags, coolers and wagons to carry around the Zoo. No glass containers or alcohol is allowed.
Electric shop riders are available for $22 each per day. Manual wheelchairs and adult chairs are $8 each per day. Both are available at Main Entrance Gift Shop all year round or at the gazebo outside the North Gate Gift Shop from Memorial Day to Labor Day. All rentals are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
In addition, Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium has a tram, train and Skyfari available, weather permitting.

Yes, Zoo guests may bring their own motorized wheelchairs.
Strollers and wagons are available to rent while enjoying Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium. A single stroller is $8 for the day. Double strollers or wagons are $12 for the day. They are available at the Main Entrance Gift Shop all year round or at the gazebo outside the North Gate Gift Shop from Memorial Day to Labor Day. All rentals are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Yes, Zoo guests may bring their own strollers and wagons.
November 1 through February 28: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily. Buildings stay open until 5 p.m.
March 1 through October 31: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Buildings stay open until 6 p.m.

There are two ATM's at Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium, serviced by US Bank. One is located at the Main Entrance outside of the Gift Shop and one is located at the North Gate Entrance.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Wildlife Safari Park no longer accepts personal checks with the exception of the purchase of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium memberships. The only forms of payment accepted are Travelers checks, Cashier checks, Money orders, Business/Company/School checks, cash and credit cards (Discover, American Express, MasterCard and Visa).
Doorly Dollars are also available and can be purchased at Guest Services and the Lozier IMAX® Theater. They are sold in increments of $5 and can be used throughout the entire Zoo.
Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express and Traveler’s checks. There are several portable concession stands that will only accept cash.
Sue's Carousel and Tram will accept prepaid ride tickets, Travelers checks, Cashier checks, Money orders, Business/Company/School checks and cash. The Train and Skyfari accept all forms of payment listed above as well as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

When guests first arrive at Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium, their hand will be stamped and will be given a receipt. Please use these items for re-entry.
Yes, Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium offers discounts for schools paying as a group but there are no discounts for individual students. If you are interested in an Education rate for your school group, please contact the Education Department at (402) 738-2092.
Group discounts are offered to groups of 40 or more with a reservation. Organized groups call (402) 738-6916 to make a reservation.

Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium does not offer a military discount on daily admission but offers an active duty military, guard or reserve pass. One owner must be active duty (military, guard or reserve). Zoo admission for both listed owners or one listed owner and one guest. Also includes up to six children (ages 0-20) at owner's address. The military pass is good through March 31, 2012. There are no reciprocal privileges with other zoos with this pass. The pass can be purchased at Guest Services, the Lozier IMAX® Theater or Offutt AFB Community center when providing active duty photo I.D.
Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium does not offer discounts on daily admission for AAA or other clubs.
Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium strives to keep our admission costs low in order for families to visit multiple times. At this time there are no discounts to our admission.
Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium does not offer prorated admission for late entry.
Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium does not offer any discounts for home school families. Large groups may contact our Education Department to arrange a possible group discount at (402) 738-2092.
For large families, a household membership would be a great value. A household membership admits two adults and up to 6 dependent children (ages 0-20) from one address.

Ride Tickets are non-refundable. If guests have a ticket remaining with the exception of the all day ride pass, it may be used on another visit. The all day ride pass must be redeemed on the date of purchase.
There are times when certain animals will be off display or an exhibit may be closed. This information will be posted at the gates upon admission.

Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium does not offer the ability to purchase day passes online. To purchase day passes ahead of time or for a gift, please call (402) 733-8401 or visit Guest Services. Omaha’s Zoo will mail the day passes or hold them at Guest Services until the arrival date.
Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium does not offer a two-day discounted pass. A household membership would allow access to Omaha’s Zoo through March 31, 2012, for two adults and dependent children (ages 0-20) from one address along with reciprocal privileges to many other zoos across the country.

Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium offers an All Day All Rides pass for $13.00 each. This is for unlimited rides on Skyfari, the Omaha Zoo Railroad, tram and Sue's Wildlife Carousel. The pass is valid one day only.
Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium allows outside food and beverages. Coolers and bags are allowed, however guests may not bring glass containers or alcohol into the Zoo.
All rides are weather dependent and will not operate if there is rain, snow, ice or if the temperature will not reach 50 degrees by 1 p.m. Skyfari will not operate if there are high winds.
You must be at least 12 years old to ride Skyfari without an adult. Children under the age of 12 will be required to ride with an adult.
You must be at least 42 inches tall to ride Sue's Wildlife Carousel without an adult.

The average show played at the Lozier IMAX® Theater is 45 minutes.
The 3D glasses are reused as another effort Omaha's Zoo and Aquarium is making towards conservation.
The 3D glasses are sanitized after every use.

Member's are asked to provide their membership card and photo I.D. on each visit. A replacement membership card may be purchased at Guest Services or the Lozier IMAX® Theater for $5.
Membership owners are now listed on the membership cards. The Individual membership admits the owner only. All other levels of membership will admit both listed owners or one owner and a guest. Military and Household memberships will admit up to 6 children at the owner's address (ages 0-20) while the Grandparent membership will admit up to 6 grandchildren of the owner (ages 0-20).
Ages 16 through 20 must provide the membership card and photo ID matching the owner's address.
Memberships do not admit daycares. If a daycare is a group of 40 or more, a group discount is available.

Please contact the Membership Office at
member@omahazoo.com with your eight-digit membership number and the caregiver’s name. For an annual fee of $20, we will issue a Nanny Pass within three to five working days. The caregiver must provide the Nanny Pass and photo ID on each visit and must be accompanying the owner's children.
The Individual membership admits the owner only. All other levels of memberships will admit only two adults each visit.
The Zoo will not be mailing cards this year. On your first visit to the Zoo members will present their receipt or photo ID at the new redemption area or at Guest Services where our attendants will issue you a new membership card.
