2012 School Admission Fees
School admission rate is given specifically to groups when student admission is being paid for by the school. Reservations are required in advance to receive school discount. One person must pay for the entire group to receive the school discount. Contact the Education Department at (402) 738-2092 or click here to make a reservation.

2012 Group Admission Rate
Group rates are available with three weeks advance notice for groups of 40 or more. Organized groups of 40 or more, please call (402) 738-6916 to make a reservation. Groups with less than 40 visitors, regular admission rates will apply.

Hours:
November 1 through February 28: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily. Buildings stay open until 5 p.m.
March 1 through October 31: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Buildings stay open until 6 p.m.
Open year-round except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Exhibit Information:
The Scott Aquarium is closed until April 2012 for renovations.
Due to winter weather conditions, the Aviary is temporarily closed.
The Butterlfy Pavilion of the Butterfly and Insect Pavilion is temporarily closed for remodel.
The petting zoo, located in the Children's Area, is closed for the season and will re-open in Spring 2012.
Expedition Madagascar lemur walk-way exhibit is closed for the season and will re-open in Spring 2012.
The Budgie Encounter is closed for the season and will re-open in Spring 2012.
The Insect Pavilion is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Butterfly Pavilion is open with a guided tour only on the hour Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost is $13.00 each
Good for Skyfari, Omaha Zoo Railroad, tram or Sue's Wildlife Carousel rides during one-day visit. Availalbe May 13 through September 5.
Skyfari
One-way ride: $2.00 per person
Round-trip ride: $4.00 per person
Skyfari is closed for the season and will re-open in Spring 2012.
Train
Round-trip ride: $5.00 per person
Children 2 and under are free
Omaha Zoo Railroad is closed for the season and will re-open in Spring 2012.
Sue's Wildlife Carousel
Cost per ride: $2.00 per person
Sue's Wildlife Carousel operates daily from 12 to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Tram
Round-trip ride: $2.00 per person
Children 2 and under are free
The tram operates daily from 12 to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
All rides are weather dependent and will not operate if there is rain, snow, ice or if the temperature will not reach 50 degrees by 1 p.m. Skyfari will not operate if there are high winds.
You must be at least 12 years old to ride Skyfari without an adult. Children under the age of 12 will be required to ride with an adult.
You must be at least 42 inches tall to ride Sue's Wildlife Carousel without an adult.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is tobacco free.

Electric shop riders: $22.00 per day*
Manual wheelchairs and adult chairs: $8.00 per day
All rentals are available at the Main Entrance Gift Shop all year round or at the gazebo outside the North Gate Gift Shop from Memorial Day to Labor Day. All rentals are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
*To rent an Electric shop rider, visitors must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license.
