Virtual Camps

We are very excited to present Virtual Zoo Camps as a new way to learn! The Zoo has been offering virtual learning experiences to classrooms around the world for nearly two decades. We are excited to now bring this experience to families from the comfort of their own homes, or backyards, from the lake, or wherever you may choose to connect with us!

How Do Virtual Zoo Camps Work?

  • Zoo staff and campers meet in a video chat session.
  • Connection is easy.  Learners at home only need a computer or mobile device, audio and internet connection or cellular service. (a webcam and microphone are optional)
  • Programs will be delivered through a secure platform. Zoo staff will deliver a live program and will answer questions from our virtual participants! Campers may meet animal care staff, get unique views of our animals, participate in engaging activities and more.
  • Cost is $10 for ages 3-5 and $12 for ages 6-18 (member rate).
    • Fee is per device. If you would like to call in on more than one device, please purchase an additional ticket. Only those with reservations will be let into the virtual camp.
  • Class Duration: 45-60 minutes depending on age and program type.
