Explore the wonders of the ocean in the Education and Conference Center attached to the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium. Located on the west side of the Scott Aquarium, the 13,000 square foot Education and Conference Center is a meeting place and classroom unlike any other. The state-of-the-art facility features electronic Sky Fold walls to divide the rooms. All the rooms will be sound proof and will have Wi-Fi capabilities. The center features built in audio visual including four projection screens and a sound system. As you walk through the 1,062 square foot conference center foyer, guests are greeted by a 10 foot coral reef tropical fish aquarium. The cool and neutral colors bring the feel of the ocean throughout the entire space. In the main room, as your guests enjoy the meeting they are surrounded by watery views. One wall features a wave-like 75 foot long Modular Arts wall that can be illuminated by a variety of colored lights. The centerpiece of the opposite wall is a 24 foot 10,000 gallon reef aquarium. 

Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium
Rental Fee: $2,500
Make your next event an aquatic escape. Ensure a one-of-a-kind experience when you dine with sharks and stingrays under a 70 foot tunnel. The Scott Aquarium can accommodate 90 for a sit-down dinner near the shark tunnel or up to 300 for a cocktail reception.

Durham TreeTops Restaurant/Lied Jungle

Bring your event from ordinary to exotic as you overlook America's largest indoor rainforest in Durham TreeTops Restaurant. With seating for up to 300 for a dinner, or room for up to 300 for a cocktail reception, TreeTops is the right fit to take your event to new heights.

Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Pavilion
Rental Fee: $2,000
Unleash the inner child in your guests with this interactive, hands-on exhibit. This venue also includes an auditorium that seats 312.  Treat up to 80 guests to a sit down dinner or 300 for a cocktail reception.

Lozier IMAX® Theater
Rental Fee: $2,000
Experience a party of IMAX® proportions! The IMAX® lobby can accommodate up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception or 72 guests for a sit-down dinner. Rental fee includes an exclusive showing of an IMAX film, of your choice, from our film library.
The theater can seat 324 for a 3D film and 358 for a 2D film.  Times are dependent on last scheduled showing.

Garden of the Senses
Rental Fee: $1,000
Make your next event a retreat. Filled with colorful gardens and tranquil scenery, Garden of the Senses is a peaceful getaway, perfect for an intimate gathering or for groups up to 200. Rental includes a tram from 6 to 9 p.m.  Garden of the Senses is available from May 1 until September 30 only; limited patio seating available.  Additional tables, chairs and other items must be rented.
