*We have a herd of around 30.

*Bison calves can weigh 30-40 lbs. at birth. Adult males can weigh up to 2,000 lbs. and females up to 1,000 lbs.

*By the year 1900 there were fewer than 1,000 bison remaining. Now, there are more than 65,000 due to the conservation efforts in North America and Canada.
