Take a wild ride through the rolling prairies, tranquil wetlands and majestic woodlands of the Wildlife Safari. From your car window, spot elk frolicking in water, deer romping through trees, cranes resting in water and a herd of bison roaming closer than ever before. |

Keep an eye out all season for Safari family events on selected Saturdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. throughout the season. Family fun events like "Going Buggy " and "Sounds of the Fall" are free with Safari admission. |

On weekends, Memorial Day through Labor Day, stick around for bear and wolf feedings at 1:30 p.m. Ask the keepers all of your questions and watch as the bears forage for nuts and climb trees to get tasty honey covered snacks! |
Before ending the wildlife expedition, park the car and take a walk through the colorful Sacred Hoop Garden. Admire the beautiful wild flowers that grow and bloom throughout the season. Saunter by the aviary to see a variety of animals, including a swift fox, bobcat, bald eagle, pheasant, sea gull, hawk, North American porcupine and more! Rest your paws in the Visitor Center, recharge with a yummy snack from the concessions and take a piece of the Safari home from our gift shop. |
