Join Us for Yoga in the Aquarium

Omaha’s Zoo is hosting one-of-a-kind yoga classes inside the Scott Aquarium Conference Center on Saturdays, Oct. 10 and 24, and Nov. 7 and 21, from 9 to 10 a.m. Guests will be able to take in the beauty and serenity of the Aquarium while exercising their body and imagination through yoga. Recognizing Zoo Superheroes for Wearing Masks

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium announces a program to recognize Zoo Superheroes who wear their mask to help keep others healthy. Once a week, a special Zoo Squad will be on Zoo grounds looking for children and families who keep their masks on even when there is not a rule to do so, such as outside. Zoo Reopens Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night and Increases Overall Capacity

The Zoo announces the reopening of Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night and increased overall capacity. These changes are in accordance with the Nebraska Governor Pete Rickett’s Phase IV Directive Health Measures. These new operating procedures will go into effect on Friday, September 18, 2020. Two More Late Nights at Zoo Will Feature New Hours and Access to the New Owen Sea Lion Shores

Two more Late Nights at the Zoo have been added on September 10 and 17 with the new hours of 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Late Nights at the Zoo continues Thursdays through August 20 at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Zoo Changes Operating Hours

The Zoo is changing the last ticket admission time to 3 p.m. daily beginning on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Buildings will remain open until 5 p.m. and the Zoo grounds until 6 p.m. Guests can make a reservation for a time to enter the Zoo up to three days in advance of their visit at OmahaZoo.com/Hours-and-Admission . Zoo Mourns Conservation Leader and Former COO Danny Morris

The Zoo is mourning the passing of Danny Morris, former chief operating officer and long-time employee. Zoo Announces Increased Capacity on Grounds and Reopening of Hubbard Expedition Madagascar, Gorilla Valley, and Orangutan Forest

The Zoo is happy to announce the reopening of Hubbard Expedition Madagascar, Hubbard Gorilla Valley, and Hubbard Orangutan Forest on Friday, July 3. The Elevator building, which provides access to these areas, will also be open. Overall capacity of the Zoo has been increased to 9,200 people on grounds, while keeping building capacity at 50 percent of occupancy rate.
