Yoga in the Aquarium

Registration is now open for Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s one-of-a-kind class: Yoga in the Aquarium.  Guests are invited to strike a pose and take in the beauty and serenity of the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium on select dates in March and June. Penguin Awareness Day

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is celebrating Penguin Awareness Day, January 20, the entire month of January with exclusive King Penguin adoption packages.  This month, in partnership with the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) , the Zoo is donating ten dollars from every Penguin Zoo Mama or Zoo Daddy package purchase directly to SANCCOB. Holiday Happenings at the Zoo

Kickoff the holiday season by joining Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for festive-filled encounters on December 1, 8 and 15. Meet Sariah, a Female Malayan Tapir Calf

A female Malayan tapir calf, born on August 31, has been introduced to its habitat in Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s Lied Jungle®.  The calf, named Sariah, is the second calf for Malacca, dam, and Dumadi, sire, both six years old. Director of Animal Health Receives the Emil Dolensek Award

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s Director of Animal Health, Douglas Armstrong, DVM, was recently awarded with one of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians’ (AAZV) highest honors, the Emil Dolensek Award. Members Invited to Free Monthly Keeper Connection Talks

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium invites its members to attend Keeper Connection, a free program featuring a Zoo employee speaker each month. Free Admission to Zoo and Wildlife Safari Park for Veterans on Veterans Day
