Scout Programs 

Scout classes include 2 hours of engaging activities and are held at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium unless otherwise noted* (select classes are held at Wildlife Safari Park, exit 426 off Nebraska's I-80).

Fee: $12 per person (scouts and adults)
       $10 per person if booked with a campout
Fee includes Zoo or Wildlife Safari Park admission.

How do I book a scout class?
Scout classes are available at 10:00am or 2:00pm on Saturday or Sunday. 3 weeks' notice is required to book a class. Please contact (402) 738-6908 or

Cub Scouts/Daisies Classes

Cub and Boy Scout Day at Omaha Zoo & Aquarium and Lauritzen Gardens

Saturday, September 27

Fee: $15 per person 

Cub scouts start the day at 9:00am at the Zoo for a fun workshop followed by free time for Zoo exploration. Following lunch at a location of your choice, cub scouts may begin arriving at Lauritzen Gardens for an afternoon of exciting stations placed throughout the garden.

Boy scouts begin their day at 9:00am to participate in a merit badge class facilitated by Zoo staff. Following lunch at a location of your choice, boy scouts should arrive at the garden for a merit badge class. Each boy scout should bring a camera to photograph insects at the garden following their class.
