Little Lions Preschool and Pre-K believes that all children are filled with powerful potential that blossoms at an early age.  Our program nurtures children's potential and inherent need to explore and discover rich learning environments, and a Zoo full of acres of adventures and animals.

Research tells us that long-lasting bonds have a positive impact on a child's first early learning experiences.  It is our mission to make those early learning experiences authentic and meaningful.  We support our students with opportunities for meaningful experiences and in-depth, child-led studies.

What are the Little Lions up to?

What Do the Little Lions Preschool Students Learn? Find Out...

With the arrival of spring, the Little Lions Preschool has been spending time exploring the various birds throughout the zoo. One day, on a visit to the Jungle, one of the Jungle birds decided the preschoolers were more interesting than the normal jungle sights. This little Thrush followed the preschoolers throughout the entire Jungle, hopping up and down on railings and cooing to get their attention. By the end of the trip, the entire class was ready to try to adopt this little fellow and let him live in the classroom.

Welcome back to our Pride! The Little Lions Preschool class has been very busy. We are learning all sorts of new things and getting acclimated with the new routine and environment. We have been studying the "wonder of peace". We are now going to transition into the "wonder of family". It's a pleasure to work with each and every one of our new friends!
