NEW! Pre-K through Grade 5 Homeschool Workshops
These new two hour workshops are designed to take students through three stations where they will participate in exciting and engaging science lessons. This new design will allow all of your children to attend class at the same time.
Students will be grouped together by the following grade levels: Pre-K, K, Grades 1 through 2 and Grades 3-5. Note: A parent is required to stay with a Pre-k to K student. Each group will rotate through three stimulating lessons appropriate for their grade level and focused on a central topic. All lessons are aligned with State standards.
Cost is $15.00 per child per workshop (includes Zoo admission for registered child plus admission for one adult).

Amphibians - Hop on in to explore the characteristics of amphibians and the problems they face.

Madagascar - Take a trip to this magnificent island via Expedition Madagascar. Discover what makes this island unique, the problems the island is facing, and the efforts taking place to conserve and restore the diverse species found on the island.

Middle School Homeschool Classes
Cost is $20.00 per class (unless otherwise noted) and includes Zoo admission for the registered student. To register for the Middle School classes please call (402) 738-2092.
Middle School Science Class Series
Join Omaha's Zoo for a series of Science classes offered for Homeschool middle school kids in grades 6 through 8. These classes are aligned with the State Science Standards and are loaded with fun experiments and great topics to get them ready for high school science courses. Topics include ecosystems, animal health, animal diversity and classification and scientific research.
Cost is $18.00 per class. Classes are offered from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m. The students will attend all sessions at their group's time each month.
