Bring your little ghouls and goblins to Omaha’s Henry Doorly
Zoo and Aquarium® for Spooktacular. Join in the
fun on October 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30, 2016, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Purchase tickets in advance for $8.95 per person for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and
Aquarium® members or $9.95 per person for non-members online or at Guest
Services. Children 2 and under are free. Help us stay green by bringing your own trick-or-treat bag to fill with candy and other goodies.
When the sun goes down, what happens at the Zoo? Visit the Lied
Jungle® to see free-flying bats or stop by Kingdoms of the Night® to see
nocturnal animals during their daylight cycle. The evening includes
admission to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium after-hours,
trick-or-treating and fun interactive activities. Get up close and personal with
different Animal Ambassadors, special animals used for educating
visitors, and enjoy balloon-twisted figurines from Omaha balloon artists. Meet your favorite characters for a fun photo opportunity at Storybook Lane. Come to Spooktacular, and get ready for a candy-munchin moon-howlin good time.
Spooktacular event tickets do not include general Zoo admission since this event occurs after regular Zoo operating hours. Event is
rain or shine. Tickets are nonrefundable. Exhibits open for Spooktacular include: Lied
Jungle®, Kingdoms of the Night®, Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium, and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Pavilion.

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium's admission gates and
exhibit buildings will close early on October 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30. Admission gates will close at 3:30 p.m. and exhibit buildings
will close at 4:30 p.m. Zoo grounds will be cleared at 4:30 p.m. with
re-admittance beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the event with a pre-purchased ticket.
The train and Skyfari will also close at 3:45 p.m. during these nights.

Boo Bash - October 29, 2016
Join Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for Boo Bash, an enchanted Halloween dinner, on Saturday, October 29 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Meet and take pictures with special characters, participate in crafts and enjoy a ghoulishly fun dance party. Don't forget to wear your costume!
This event is great for families with children ages 3-12, but everyone is welcome! Cost is $35 for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members and $40 for non-members. Children 2 and under are free. This unforgettable and exclusive dinner includes first-entry admission to Spooktacular.
Event is rain or shine. All children must be accompanied by a paid adult. Limited seats are available. Reservations are required and non-refundable.

Comedy Night - November 4 and 5, 2016
Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for an evening of
laughter as we host our fourth annual Comedy Night at the Zoo.
This event is for adults 21 and over and
takes place on Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. inside the Suzanne
and Walter Scott Aquarium. Admission cost is $50 per person and includes
heavy hors d‘oeuvres, two free drink
tickets to our cash bar, special animal encounters and performances by comedians Willie Farrell
and Josh Novey
With a cocktail in hand, it will be a night filled with laughs all
around as guests are invited to take advantage of the beauty and serenity of
the Scott Aquarium after-hours.

Veteran's Recognition Day - November 11, 2016
In honor of those who proudly served our nation,
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will be offering free gate admission to
all veterans and their immediate families on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November
11, 2016. The free admission applies to active or
retired Veterans and their immediate families.
Holiday Happenings - December 3, 10 and 17, 2016
Catch a glimpse of special holiday characters as they dive
into the shark tunnel inside the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium on
Saturdays, December 3, 10 and 17, 2016, at 10:45 a.m. Also, Zoo residents will be
getting special enrichment gifts throughout the day. Event activities are free to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
members or with regular paid Zoo admission.
Supper with Santa - December 15-18, 2016
It's that time of year for Mr. and Mrs. Claus to make their annual trip to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for Supper with Santa! Join us December 15-18 from 6 to 8 p.m. for a night of fun-filled holiday spirit!
Enjoy a spaghetti dinner, cookie decorating, craft stations, story time, exploring Scott Aquarium and of course pictures with Santa!
Cost is $18 per person for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members, $23 for non-members and children 2 and under are free. Reservations are required for this all-inclusive event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All sales are final.

Penguins and Pancakes - December 26 - 30, 2016
Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for a formal
affair – Penguins and Pancakes – on Monday, December 26, through Friday, December 30,
2016, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. (no formal-wear required). Enjoy pancakes from The Pancake Man,
crafts and animal visits from the African penguins. Cost is $15 for
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members, $20 for non-members, children 2 and under
are free and includes a pancake breakfast, plush penguin toy and admission to

Noon Year's Eve - December 31, 2016
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1! Party with the animals and celebrate New Year's Eve at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium on Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Have a wild time with entertainment from Joe Cole’s Magic Show, fun activities and an early countdown to 2017 complete with a beach ball drop at noon. Enjoy this fun family event without having to stay up until midnight. Event activities are free to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members or with regular paid Zoo admission.
